Packing:
1) Memoir folder, poetry folder, and WNB 2) Science folder, bar graph, and food diary 3) Text you're reading & RNB 4) PREPARE FOR TOMORROW'S TRIP: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, wear a suit under your outfit, water bottle for drinking, dry change of clothes & towel for after, shoes that can get wet/dirty, small bucket/container/plastic bottle to throw water around. You're welcome to bring water balloons (as long as you pick up after yourselves once they break). Bring a tasty snack/treat to share with everyone in addition to our pizza-- chips, fruits, veggies, etc.) Writing: Choices: 1) Add, remove, move ideas in your vignettes/poems. 2) Add more sophisticated language in your vignettes/poems. 3) Rewrite a vignette in a new way. 4) Add another vignette/poem. 5) Write/Revisit your reflection/ending think about how you can make it better. If you haven't written your reflection/ending yet, this should be your focus. 6) Write an about the author. 7) Find pictures to go with your memories. 8) Get serious about preparing to publish your work in your blank book. Science & Math: * Think about your food diary data. Look at your data, look at you graph (bar or line graph). What do you notice? What stands out to you? Are their any outliers (data that is VERY different than all your other data)? If there are outliers, why might that be? -How do you think you could find the average amount of calories you had each day? LATE WORK: If you haven't totaled your calories and sugar, you need to do that tonight. You also need to complete your bar graph from your weekly calories that we began last Friday. We would have had you finish in class today, but it's impossible to make the bar graph before the data completion is completed. Reading: - Read independently. Record 2 questions you have about the text you're reading and explain why you wonder that.
