Writing: Continue working to publish your memoir book. We'll continue working on this in class before our trip 1st period tomorrow. 5th Grade Spirit Week June 19-23 Monday: Mismatch Day -Wear the wackiest, tackiest & craziest outfits you can come up with- switch your socks, shoes, think crazy hair (wigs, dye, styling), out of control accessories, insane nails, overlap clothes, anything is possible!!! Be as mixed and matched as possible. Tuesday: Sports Day Become the athlete you always wanted to become! You can dress like your favorite athlete, wear your favorite team apparel(jersey, hat, socks, shorts, etc.), you can dress ready to participate in your favorite sport… soccer, yogi, skating, dancing, basketball, quidditch, tennis, running, etc. Wednesday: V.I.P. -Dress like you are famous! You can become someone you aspire to be or dress in the style of what you want to become. (Chef, Actor, Athlete, Rap Artist, Inventor, Tech Genius, Hipster Artist, etc.) Thursday: Twin Day -Coordinate a matching outfit with any 5th grade student or teacher. If you want to make triplets or quadruplets, go for it. The outfits can be the casual norm or as wacky as you want them to be. Friday: Graduation -Caps & Gowns, come up to your classroom at the start of school and we will get ready together **Bring a backpack to school all week!

You're welcome to bring water balloons (as long as you pick up after yourselves once they break). Science & Math: * Think about your food diary data. Look at your data, look at you graph (bar or line graph). What do you notice? What stands out to you? Are their any outliers (data that is VERY different than all your other data)? If there are outliers, why might that be? -How do you think you could find the average amount of calories you had each day? LATE WORK: If you haven't totaled your calories and sugar, you need to do that tonight. You also need to complete your bar graph from your weekly calories that we began last Friday. We would have had you finish in class today, but it's impossible to make the bar graph before the data completion is completed. Reading: - Read independently.
